The Buffed Out Drift Series (BODS) is a community-run esports league for CarX Drift Racing Online 2. This policy explains what data we collect through bods.gg, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
When you register as a driver, we collect the details you give us: your in-game name, Discord username, region, team, and vehicle information. These are used to build rosters, seed events, and run the championship.
Once Steam sign-in launches, we'll also receive your public Steam profile data — your Steam ID, display name, and avatar — through Steam's official sign-in flow. We never see your Steam password.
Like most websites, our server keeps basic logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and troubleshooting.
We use Rybbit, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Rybbit does not build advertising profiles or track you across other sites, and we never sell analytics data.
Analytics do not load when site admins are working in local development.
bods.gg currently sets no cookies. Once Steam sign-in launches, the only cookie we set is a single session cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your data is used to run the championship: publishing rosters and standings, organizing rounds, producing broadcasts, and contacting drivers through Discord. We also look at aggregate usage to improve the site itself.
We don't sell your data — full stop. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Supabase Postgres) and processed by Rybbit for analytics only. It is not shared with advertisers or any other third parties.
We keep your driver profile for as long as you take part in the series. You can ask us to remove your driver profile at any time, and we'll delete it.
The series is aimed at players aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.
If we change this policy, we'll post the update on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be announced in our Discord.
